We have a new stage for storytelling in the world of the web, and a new audience, where information is free and universally accessible. Artistree has expanded its associates to include artisans in the multimedia and web design worlds to explore this new stage in two innovative projects.

Musical Trails: Notes from Hickman County, is a web documentary which follows the path of music, allowing the viewers to learn the influences that environment, history and heritage have played on its music. This narrative beautifully features the lives and achievements of the talented folk nestled in its hills. Our project commissioned by the Hickman County Public Library, and funded by the TN Arts Commission, is being linked to regional and national organizations whose mission is to preserve cultural heritage.

Asha Fuller, professional photographer in NY, graced the narrative with photographic views of the natural setting and in association with Casey Culver of ArtMagicLabs, directed the video interviews with musical talents and native enthusiasts who could tell of their experiences.

Health: First Choice: Is a program designed to address education of children and families regarding wellbeing. This health education initiative links whole schools, through live interaction, to individual health coaching online for the entire family. The vision is to draw audiences from live theatre into the interactive virtual world where each is an actor in determining the story. For this we are working with CocodriloDog, a web gaming design company, and Magnetic Dreams, steeped in animation. New partners for a new approach to the story…we are thrilled!
